Core Benefit Offerings
Advertisement: Premier Sponsors will be recognized in an advertisement developed by NSGC to be placed in the "Best Of" issue of Perspectives in Genetic Counseling. Sponsor agreement must be signed by May 16, 2022, to receive benefit.
Annual Conference: Premier Sponsors receive:
- One (1) complimentary full conference registration
- Verbal recognition from the podium during the opening session
- Logo displayed prominently at the opening session
- Sponsor ribbons for your company’s attendees
- Company logo
- Direct link to your website
- 35-word company description
Sponsorship Package Offering Descriptions
- Sponsored Webinar Promotion: Host an educational webinar promoted by NSGC through two (2) promotional emails, one (1) Twitter post, and one (1) Facebook post publicizing your webinar. Sponsor is responsible for hosting and administering the webinar and applying for any CEUs for attendees. Sponsor must notify NSGC two (2) months prior to webinar to secure dates of promotions and must adhere to any CEU application standards and deadlines.
- New Product Announcement: Announce a new product and have it featured on the NSGC website for up to three (3) months. Sponsor to provide NSGC with a web banner or graphic and link to URL of your choosing. Sponsor also receives inclusion in one (1) issue of NSGC Link, NSGC's member e-newsletter with an outstanding average open rate of 45%, generating amazing traffic to view your new product or service.
- Listing in Dates & Deadlines: NSGC will feature your company's name and logo up to three (3) times throughout the year in NSGC's Dates & Deadlines sent out at the beginning of each month to nearly 4,000 members. Dates and Deadlines has an average open rate of 42%. Sponsor to choose three (3) non-consecutive months throughout the year; first time, first served.
- Advertising Bulletin: Two (2) featured listings in NSGC's Advertising Bulletin. Your featured content and company logo will be the first listing on the monthly advertising email, which has an average 40% open rate. Sponsor to provide content; not to exceed 500 characters.
- Web Banner: Web banner on NSGC's website will give you exposure to over 19,000 monthly visitors. Your banner will be posted for a three (3) month period, on a quarterly basis, and is chosen for placement on a first come, first served basis.
- Mailing List Rental: NSGC will provide approximately 2,500 opt-in NSGC member mail contacts to a mailing house on your behalf for a one-time mailing distribution. All mailings must be sent by a third party mailing house who will receive the address list directly from NSGC. Printing, postage, and shipping are at sponsor's expense.
- Full Conference Registration: One (1) complimentary full conference registration includes access to sessions (pre-conference symposia excluded), the Exhibitor Suite, and networking events.
- Education Breakout Session: Sponsor an educational breakout session at the Annual Conference. Your company's name and logo will be featured in collateral and on applicable signage. Session schedule will be available in May 2022 and all sponsored sessions must be confirmed by August 9, 2022 in order to be featured in printed material. All session speakers and content will be predetermined by NSGC.
- Membership Survey: Gain valuable insight from genetic counselors and others in the genetics and genomics fields. Sponsor to develop and prepare a survey that NSGC will send out to the membership on your behalf to help you better understand your customer base. Survey must be branded with company logo and content is subject to NSGC approval.
- Member E-blast: Send your message directly to the inboxes of our 4,000+ members. See the Year Round Prospectus for more details.
- Session Area Sponsorship: Share your message and promote your company as attendees head to breakout rooms.
- Priority Points: Based off sponsor level, priority points are used towards placement in the Annual Conference Exhibitor Suite (show floor/exhibit hall).
Perspectives in Genetic Counseling is NSGC’s online publication promoted monthly to more than 4,000 genetic counselors. This online publication features in-depth articles about news, trends, best practices, and other current issues that directly relate to genetic counselors.
Perspectives Online averages 2,000 users and 4,000 pageviews per month.

- All advertisers must be clearly identified by company/organization name in the e-blast.
- If you would like to send an e-blast with specific formatting, please send content as an HTML file with all images already hosted through your own website.
- If you plan to send a text e-blast and would like to include images, all images should be JPG or PNG format. Images should be no wider than 600 pixels.
- All copy needs to be approved by submitter on both desktop and mobile devices before approval is granted to NSGC for sending.
- Please note: The NSGC E-Blast service is not able to send attachments. NSGC will make every attempt to include your desired formatting, within the limits of our system.

Focus Group sponsorship includes dedicated email to a subset of NSGC members as well as a stipend provided by NSGC as a thank you from NSGC to members for participation. Recommended size is 10-12 participants. Sponsor is responsible for focus group content and managing RSVPs.

With over 6,000 unique downloads and a patient-focused launch, the NSGC Podcast Series focuses on communicating with members of NSGC. Sponsoring the our member podcast series will provide you with chance to promote your company with a banner ad.
NSGC is excited to continue serving our members with our member podcast series. Sign up to sponsor a banner ad on the podcast webpage. This is a brand new opportunity. Due to the podcast being a CEU-eligible program, the banner cannot promote a specific product. The banner link may re-direct viewers to product-specific content.
